May your coming year be filled with magic and dreams and good madness. I hope you read some fine books and kiss someone who thinks you’re wonderful, and don’t forget to make some art — write or draw or build or sing or live as only you can. And I hope, somewhere in the next year, you surprise yourself.

To Areff’s mom:

I know you don’t like me, but you don’t even know me. I do apologize for what I wrote on here the last time, it was unkind and I knew better. I just want you to know, your son is the most amazing guy I’ve ever met, and I want to thank you for bringing him to this world. He has taught me so many things in life, even your religion. Which I respect very much. My whole family loves Areff, they think he is the kindest most helping man. He is always quick to help someone who needs it. He opens doors for everyone, and has very good manners. I’m not trying to hold Areff back from school, I want him to excel just as much as you guys, because I know he has it in him to succeed, since he was raised by such determined parents. I admire that Areff wants to respect you guys, and not disappoint you, which is why he wont admit to our relationship. I hope one day, you guys will actually want to meet me and get to know me, and see that Areff and I make a great couple together, we both are seeking God, and I know He has amazing plans for us. I want to marry Areff someday, when he’s ready, but I know he wont marry me unless you guys approve, he values your opinions very much. Once again, I apologize for what I had said, and I hope one day we can get together and talk.

So how does it happen, great love? Nobody knows, but what I can tell you is that it happens in the blink of an eye. One moment you’re enjoying your life, and the next you’re wondering how you ever lived without them.
